And the gentle breezes blow,
Seventy miles an hour,
At twenty-five below.
Oh, how I love Ohio,
When the snow's up to your butt,
You take a breath of winter ,
And your nose gets frozen shut.
Yes, the weather here is wonderful,
So I guess I'll hang around,
I could never leave Ohio,
'Cause I'm frozen to the ground!!

Wow! I just happened the other day to see the temperature in Ohio at the time - and could not believe that people actually live there. God did not mean for this to be! :) Glad you can handle it, but I loved my 63° day today. Of course, tomorrow it could be 20°. I loved your poem.
Stay warm my dear friend, love you.
I love it!(the poem. Winter in Ohio, not so much.)
The poem is so true! I'm not a fan of the winter we are having. I didn't buy enough pairs of long johns! lol
Yes, Bro. Holley, we LIVE here! LOL This has been one of the "longest" winters that I can remember, though. The snow and cold began in early November and hasn't let up. The upside? It makes us really appreciate spring, summer and fall? Maybe? *feeble grin*
I am trying my best, Denise, but it hasn't always been easy. Friday night I was in bed, all bundled up at 7:45, settled in to read a good book!
I knew you would like the poem, Sir! *smile* And you all have, no doubt, had more snow and colder temps than those of us down here "in the south", hm?
I understand about the long johns! Actually, I don't wear them but I do bundle up in layers! Brr!! Be careful traversing the ice!!
Hey, Jewel, how about a Jaylon update??
Okey Dokey!!
hahaha!! But the poem fails to mention how it's then a balmy 80 degrees the very next week! hahaha!!
