A milestone!

I slept the whole night through for the first time last night since having my hip replacement! We went to bed at 10:00PM. Now, mind you, I have to sleep ON my back with a pillow folded and placed under my left knee and two pillows supporting my left foot. I vaguely remember waking up at some point in the night, just a little, but I went right back to sleep and did not wake up until 5:00AM!!! Of course, I was ready to get up and so I did. I'm also able to get out of bed by myself now, too. But Ed still has to help me get into bed and get settled but hopefully that will not be the case after this week. I'm making progress!!!! Yayyyyyy!!!! And don't worry, I won't be over-doing it! I don't want to have any setbacks!
(Ed has always said that I could sleep on a fencepost....*grin*)

I'm glad you have something more comfortable than a fence post to sleep on! **grin**

Seriously, I remember from my own post-surgery days, the relief when I could finally sleep through the night. I'm glad things are moving along so well! This brings good hope for your second surgery. ((HUGS))
