Ed, the gardener

In years past, Ed has mowed the grass and I would help, usually with the push mowing and trimming and I kept the flower beds all done up and so on. I did the detail stuff. But now that I am not as agile as I used to be, Ed is doing all of the outside work and a fine job he is doing, I must say! These pictures will attest to this:

Looking like a Gold resort at home:) You have landed a keeper in Ed...

Where we live is suburban grass is something that happens to other people... WE do have a little patch to grow tomatoes and other vegies...

Hey Aidan! Yes, he is definitely doing a super job and he loves it. Actually, Daniel, our son, used to practice his golf swing when he lived here. He had plenty of room! *smile*
Thanks, Sis. Hurst, I'm really proud of Ed and thankful for him. I love to do yard work and mow grass, but am just not able to at the present time. I love the smell of freshly mowed grass and then to sit out on the porch with coffee or tea after the yard work is all done. Thanks for stopping by!!

Beautiful yard! I KNOW what a job a yard is and especially when it is as large as yours looks! I can't say that I love mowing, but I do like the way it looks when I am finished.

Hey, Bro. Holley! We have 2.79 acres, 2 of which Ed mows and keeps looking really nice. Because of the dry weather, he has been able to get it in shape especially early this year. Now that is good in one way, but not so good in another: We need rain! But on the flip side of needing rain, it has been so nice to be able to enjoy the beauty outside earlier this year. God Bless!
