I am thinking of doing some redecorating here at my blog. I've found some really pretty templates. BUT.......once I get something I like, it is kind of difficult for me to change and I am pretty happy with my blog the way it is. I was thinking, though, that maybe if I did a little updating, redecorating and so on, I would be more inclined to post more often. Sooooo, I think I'll start with a new profile pic!
I have had such a nice day today. I have been home ALL day! I did my usual morning tasks. Then I proceeded to finishing the afghan that I have been working on for my friend, Sonja. She gave me a bag of yarn and told me what she wanted, the colors and so on. It turned out really pretty. Here it is:
Well, it is late and I need to take myself off to bed as I have a lady coming EARLY in the morning to have her hair done! Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!

The afgan is very pretty....but i really like your quilt underneath ;-)
Hey, Hi Jana! Well, thank you for the compliment on my quilt, but I didn't make it. *smile* So I can't take credit for it, but I am thinking of trying my hand at one as I can't find one that I like in the colors that I want and need!
Re-decorate away!! As you can see, Liz re-decorated mine.
The afghan is beautiful! You really do good work.
Well, I'm trying to decorate, but I'm having a little trouble. *sigh* And thanks for the compliment. I try my best! And when you are doing it for someone else, well, it can be a little more intense, hm? You know what I'm talking about, hm, Theresa? *smile*
Greeting sorry life is crazy jewell i havn't had a chance to pop by.
Glad the trip went well i am suprised you got back in the car though, Just a bit more adventure...
I could really use the Afghan it is really cold in melbourne at the moment, winter has come back with vengence!
Hey, Aidan, I wondered where you and Stace had been! I'm glad everything is okay there...well, except for the cold. I realize our seasons are just the opposite. We are having terribly humid weather at the present time. Hey, how 'bout I make you and Stace an afghan? I could mail it to you and you could have something made by your friend in the states. Whadaya think? Any particular colors you like?
What a gorgeous afghan! It has been years and years since I've sat down to crochet. My projects don't turn out as beautiful as that though. Maybe if I'd actually take the time to practice more often ... hehehe
Hi Tersie, I didn't used to be so good at crocheting and I still don't do fancy stitches but my stitches are much more uniform now that I've made several. There are many great beginning/learning crocheting websites out there. Winter is really my favorite time to crochet.
