How quickly a week passes by!

Here's a picture of....who else?....little Jaylon sitting in Grandma's rocking chair, enjoying the beautiful weather we had last week! :-)

ANDDDD....here's Grandpa and Jaylon taking a morning walk down our road one morning last week when the weather was sooo nice! :-)

I made meatballs for the very first time in. my. life! last week and they were sooooo delicious! The recipe is below. I believe I found it at....oh, I don't remember where I found it exactly, but I do remember that I googled "easy meatballs and spaghetti" and it was the first website listed. :-)

1 pound lean ground beef
1/4 cup seasoned dry bread crumbs
1 large egg, slightly beaten
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 jar (26 to 30 ounces) prepared spaghetti sauce

You cook the meatballs IN the spaghetti sauce! Joyce had told me that that was the way she prepared hers and then I found the recipe above which said to do the same. Jaylon loved them so I am going to be fixing them again soon! :-)

Lastly, but certainly not leastly, Ed and I took Jaylon for his inaugral visit to the park last week....WHEN the weather was so beautiful. (Have you noticed a pattern in this post? :-/ )
He enjoyed himself, though he did seem a bit reluctant to do too much. He just kind of checked the place out. :-)

I'll be posting the weekly Random Dozen tomorrow, so I'll see you then! Hope your days have been good and that the Lord has been near! God bless!

I loved the beautiful weather we had. The cold, dreary rain, not so much. Glad you could get out in it with Jalon.

The meatballs look really good.

BTW- regardless of what the word verification says, I'm not giving meatballs up for "lente". LOL

Your meatballs look so good! I also add parmesan cheese to my mix and that adds good flavor, maybe a couple of Tbsp.

Love all the springtime pics...we had a gorgeous weekend but it has been rainy, gray and foggy so far this week. oh well, it is March : )

Have a great day!

That little guy can't get any cuter! Loved that he checked out the playground; how fun.

The meatballs look great. I think I'll give it a try sometime. Will let you know if/when I do.

Have a great week!
