When I don't have time to sit down and blog, I get all of these neat ideas....well, to ME they are neat :-/........for blog posts and then I don't jot them down, which leaves me sitting here wondering what to blog about other than about what I can't remember that I thought would make such a good blog post! (I hate when that happens!)

When my daughters would say that they were going to say something, but forgot what it was, I would always tell them to say something else, nobody will ever know the difference.
It is said that if you give a thousand monkeys a thousand typewriters, given time, they will write something that makes sense. On my blog, one monkey, 10 minutes.
:-) I do that, too. I do have a file on my computer where I jot down ideas for blog posts to develop later, but often I don't remember to jot them down.
What I really need is a personal secretary to run along behind me all day with a notepad to jot down things like that -- and things I need at the store, and people I need to call, and things I need to do....
I can relate so very well! While our computer was down with the legion of bugs, I came up with some great posts, but now that we are back online??? Nope, brain is totally blank.
I feel the same! I write great posts in my head as I'm trying to fall asleep. Or when I'm in the car...my memory is definitely not what it used to be and if I don't write stuff down when it pops into my head then it just flys right on out.
Have a nice weekend!
Wow...I never thought of that before, Sir. *feeble grin* So you're sayin' that I should just keep my mouth shut and write sumthin' else and people will never know the difference or know about my forgetfulness? And I, for one, like reading your "monkey business"! *smile*
AND Barbara, Theresa, and Joyce....it IS somewhat of a comfort to know that I am not alone!!! LOL
What we need to do is invest in one of those tiny, handheld digital recording devices so we can just record our thoughts and ideas as they come to us, hm? I'm serious!!! I really am going to see about getting one!
And how is it that a post in the head sounds so much better than when actually typed out? or does that happen to you all? :-)
