About two weeks, before the first Ohio State football game, I finished this afghan for my good friend Pat and her husband Dee, who is a big OSU football fan!!
I had started it back in January while still recovering from my hip surgeries and going back and forth to the hospital to see little Jaylon. My goal was to get this afghan finished before the first OSU football game and would you believe, I just barely managed to?
Yep, that's me! Take it right down to the wire! Procrastination personified! (Me and Chantell! :-/) I actually finished it on the Thursday before the game and Pat comes on Friday to have her hair done! I made it for them as a belated wedding present! (Procrastination rearing its ugly head again! ) :-/
Daniel said it is his favorite of all the afghans that I've made and I believe it is my favorite, too! I try to make them all a little different so only time will tell what the next one will look like! Stay tuned!!

Yes, procrastination is our thorn in the flesh, sis. And seeing your freshly knitted OSU afghan reminds me of the lovely lavender one that I won on your blog contest! It still keeps me snuggly and warm! :-)
Yes, BUT on the flip side of our procrastinating ways is the fact that we work really good under pressure! Don't we?!?!? *grin* I'm so glad you are still enjoying your afghan, Chantell!!
Very nicely done, Jewel! I'm a bit of a procrastinator, also, but it is soooo much fun to watch a project come to completion.
Hi Theresa! I try to look on the positive sides of my procrastinatin' ways and I have over come some of them as I've gotten older! :-)
