True Randomness

As we were raising Daniel, our son, we monitored the music he listened to along with the movies he watched, etc.

Sooooo....one day he is doing schoolwork or something and, all of a sudden, I hear him singing this song...."I like big butts and I cannot lie...."

"Daniel!!! WHAT are you singing and WHERE did you hear it?!?!?!"

"Mom! It's a song from Shrek," he said in his defense.

Huh????? A song from Shrek, the children's movie we saw.....as a family?

THAT song was in it? Why didn't I remember hearing that one?

"Mom......Donkey sang it about the girl dragon he was in love with."

Oh.

I guess what got me to thinking about this special memory in our family's past was the Big Bottom Memorial I told about in this post. And although I was a bit upset that long-ago-day when my son went through the house singing about liking big butts, it has become a fond and funny memory that we still laugh about when reminiscing.
