Me and Jaylon at Lake Logan

When Daniel was little, one of his favorite things to do was to go to Lake Logan and throw rocks in the water. Simple, hm? :-) Those simple things make the best memories! :-)

Well, last week, I took little Jaylon to Lake Logan so he could throw some rocks in the water. Now, he is used to doing that at our creek but the creek is all dried up for lack of rain, so you can imagine how excited he was at seeing all of that lake water! LOL

I had gotten him a chicken nugget meal before going out and thankfully, we had some leftover fries to feed to the hungry ducks!

Below are some pictures of our adventure!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
AND...below are a couple of pictures of Jaylon and Grandpa enjoying some moments together!
Jaylon loves to sit on the mower and take the key out and put the key in and take the key out and put....well, you get the idea. :-) Isn't it amazing how they can do something over and over a kazillion times and never get bored? I love it! :-)
Jaylon loves to drink Ed's warm green tea, especially with a fresh cookie! :-) Here he is partaking of the tea!
I love the pics of Jaylon! He's such a cutie and growing up so fast!
Eva loves to throw rocks, too. She doesn't have to be near water, though. She'll pick up rocks and throw them right back down in the driveway. **grin** When she gets near water, her instant reaction is to get IN it. She's such a water baby.
I love the pic of Ed & Jaylon drinking he mug of tea. It reminds me of me & my grandpa. I'd drink from his cuo and say "Get your nose out of that cup." I could never figure out how to drink without putting my nose in the cup. I've used the same line on my kids & grandkids.
Hi Theresa! Jaylon is not partial to throwing rocks just into the water either. He'll throw them anywhere! I currently have two on the backseat of my car, that he too with him when we went to town yesteray! :-)
Hi Joyce! Yes, I thought so, too! They have a special rapport, let me tell ya! :-)
It is kind of surreal, Mrs. NB, to be doing some of the same things with Jaylon that we did with his daddy, indeed!
And, Yes, I am most certainly watching PR! I was so sad to see Casanova go, though! I just loved him!! He added personality to the show!! Hopefully, some strange twist will happen and they can bring him back AND I'm so glad they've finally quit "dissing" Michael! Did you see him and Mondo cuddling on the couch? Oh my!!! :-0
AND I loved Casanova's outfit and thought they should have sent the other girl home...I can't remember her name but I most definitely didn't like her outfit! Yuck!
Okay, I'm done. LOL
Thank you so much, Mary, and everyone else for the sweet compliments about our grandbaby!! :-)
That's cute, Sir! Jaylon likes to talk into the cup, too and hear the different sound of his voice echo back to him! :-) I just know that you are a super grandpa to your little ones!!!
