.......even if it is still rainy, cold and dreary here in SE Ohio. At least the weather is being consistent, which is more than I can say for ME and blogging.
I hadn't thought about how difficult it might be for me to get back into the habit of blogging once I hadn't blogged for such a long time!
BUT......do you know what? There is life beyond blogging. Yes, there is. :-)
I started blogging when I was unable to get out much.....back when I began having difficulty with my back and hips. Blogging kind of became my social life.
I do enjoy going back and reading what I blogged about and, actually, do want to continue blogging. I am determined to get back into the swing of things here!

Jaylon is now 2yrs. 5mos. old Almost 2 1/2!!! AND he still isn't talking much! Drat! He says Dada, Mama, Pawpaw, Mawmaw, Papa, Beh-Beh (that's me!), dog, cat, pop, amen, okay, meow, moo, woof-woof, baaaaa, okay. :-)
Everyone keeps telling me to just be patient. He will talk and, probably, once he starts, it will be in sentences! :-)
We do manage to communicate somehow. He is soooo smart. He knows EVERYTHING we tell him or are talking about! :-)
Oh, and by the way......I just happen to have a picture or 3000 to share.....just in case you might like to see what the little guy is looking like! :-)
Here's Jaylon and Grandpa reading one of his Thomas the Train books:
He's learning the fine art of CLIMBING! :-0

AND on a completely different note......this is what I made for Ed on Mother's Day:
Yes, you read that correctly! :-) It's a Peach Upside Down Cake. And it was delicious!
Ed had already taken me out for a delicious steak dinner the previous Sunday, after church, because all of the restaurants are so busy on Mother's Day, so we had a quiet dinner here at home.

Well, I am going to post this before I get busy with something here at home and don't have time to finish it!

Peach upside down cake-yum!
Good to hear from you again! Wow, little Jaylon is getting so big.
Good to hear from you! Jaylon looks like such a little man. Eva is climbing and pushing things around to climb from!
My mother would love that cake! She's never met a peach anything that she didn't love!
Look how big he's getting! It seems like he's grown a bunch all of a sudden!
Glad your back. Jaylon will eventually start talking. Then you won't be able to shut him up.
The cake looks delicious.
Hello everyone! I'm so glad you are still here reading me. :-) I'm trying my best to get back into things here and on FB. Having some sunshine would certainly help, too! Love you all!! ((HUGS))
Good to see a post from you! I should talk, I have been kinda MIA too. Jaylon is growing! They grow so fast. Eden is now playing T Ball and starts kindergarten in the fall... hard to believe! I have missed you my dear friend! Take care of yourself!

Hi Nel! It is so good to hear from you! Sounds like your little Eden is growing, too, and staying so busy! Aren't they such a wonderful blessing to us grandmas? :-) Hope you are having a wonderful spring! ((HUGS))
